Welcome to Chapter - a book café and tea shop located at 442 Mt Eden Rd in the Mt Eden Village, Auckland. The shop has a new name (it was previously called the Tea Time Café) following its renovation in mid 2005.
Romance Fiction
Chapter is an independent bookshop specialising in the romance fiction genre, which includes contemporary, fantasy (including futuristic, magic, paranormal, time travel, vampire, witch, werewolf, etc), historical, hot, humorous, regency and suspenseful romance books. The shop also sells selections of mainstream, chick lit and crime & mystery fiction. The books are imported directly from the USA to provide you with the latest releases as well as classic titles from your favourite writers.

Loose Leaf Teas
Chapter is the location of Auckland's original tea shop. The shop has a wide range of loose leaf teas (black, green, white, flavoured, herbal, fruit, organic and decaffeinated), stick teas and tea accessories. Chapter's café serves the full range of teas, espresso coffee, delicious cakes, savoury treats and yummy cookies.
Tea Tastings
We hold tea tastings (usually three teas each week) on Sundays from 10.30am - 11.30am.

Mt Eden Village Fete: Saturday 27 March 11am - 3pm
It's time to come along and enjoy the vibe of a good old fashioned Village Market Day. There will be a street market, stalls, street entertainment, music and a whole lot of fun for the family in the Mt Eden Shopping Village. Chapter's stall will include book specials, leaf tea specials and tea accessory specials (for $5 each). We will also be giving away free tea ball samples (while stocks last). Come and see us! Artists in Eden: Saturday 20 March from 10am
Artists in Eden will hold their annual event at the Essex Reserve in the Mt Eden Village. Artists will be at work from 10am - 2pm. An auction of works will be held at 2.30pm on the day.
